Therapy is a dynamic and transformative process that can evoke many conflicting emotions because the journey of self-discovery can be challenging. This is normal. But in those difficult moments, we have the most significant opportunity for personal development, to shed limiting beliefs, and to reconnect with our essence through emotional processing.

Your feelings are valid and important, and I welcome the opportunity to delve deeper into them with you to promote healing and growth

"Together, we will work on helping you untangle your life for the better!"

My Story

I am passionate and creative, with an eclectic taste in music, art, and cuisine. Although I was born in North Carolina, growing up in a military (Army) household with an extroverted family has allowed me to experience various places while meeting life-long friends nationwide. Therefore, I am always seeking new experiences, constantly learning, and always exploring. In August 2020, I officially relocated to Fort Worth to begin my graduate school journey at Texas Wesleyan University. While taking on various roles, I am also navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood, one day at a time, with grace and gratitude. Though I completed my academic journey in December 2023, I always believe I am a lifelong student and an occasional teacher.

All I Ever Really Wanted

All I ever want(ed) was to make a real, tangible difference in people's lives. Growing up seeing the direct effects of traumatic events on individuals and their family systems, I recognized the imperative need for informative mental health support services and advocacy in marginalized populations. In a world where the powerful often dominate the narrative, it's time to shift the focus and listen to those who feel unheard or silenced.

In addition to my academic credentials, I conducted my graduate-level therapeutic services at the Women’s Center Rape Crisis and Victim Services, where I was able to enrich my therapeutic abilities to support survivors of violent or sexual crimes. This specialized training equips me with the skills and knowledge necessary to assist effectively and counsel survivors who have experienced trauma, including both adults and minors, while offering a holistic and informed approach to addressing trauma-related concerns in therapy.

From witnessing the resilience of the human spirit to watching someone find their strength, reclaim their narrative, and heal from unspeakable pain - there's nothing quite like it. This experience has allowed me to help survivors by providing a tailored, safe space to process and heal at their own pace while reclaiming power and control within their lives

The Best is Yet to Come

Life is a profound journey filled with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs. Understand that everyone faces challenges at some point in their lives and that it is okay to seek assistance. It is courageous to acknowledge our limitations and reach out to others for support. Being transparent about your needs opens you to a more profound connection and personal growth. Be assured that you will not be alone throughout this process. I am here to help you reach your goals by providing support and guidance, helping you explore different perspectives and possibilities, and encouraging you to take risks and try new things to influence productive change.”
