Welcome to untanglife counseling

Life Is Complicated.
Let's Untangle It Together.

helping you heal, restore hope, & show up as your authentic self.

Why Work With Me?

You've probably been working really hard to make changes in your life. And for whatever reason, it feels like no matter how hard you've tried or what you've done, nothing has changed.

Have you ever tried to carry sand with your hands? It sounds so easy, doesn't it? It's actually very difficult. You can try very hard to move sand using your hands, but no matter how hard you try, the sand will slowly but surely slip through your fingers. Does that mean you didn't try hard enough?

No, that isn't what that means at all.

That's sometimes how problems work. We work so hard to find solutions, and in the end, it looks like we didn't put in enough effort or try hard enough - which could be the farthest thing from the truth. When you come to therapy, I help you find other, more effective tools to help you work through your problems and discover better solutions.

Let's be honest - most people don't want to come to counseling. I get it; therapy is hard work. By the time clients reach out to me, they're often hurting deeply and hoping for a miracle. While I can't promise miracles, I do promise to show up fully for you - supporting you, truly hearing you, and yes, even laughing with you when the moment calls for it.

I bring over 15 years of experience and a well-stocked toolbox of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, Acudetox (ear acupuncture for nervous system regulation), and trauma-informed care. But more than techniques, I bring genuine compassion and a collaborative spirit. We'll work together to help you heal from past trauma, navigate anxiety and panic, recover from narcissistic abuse, and break the harmful patterns that keep you stuck.

You don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out. You just have to be willing to start untangling.
